Full and half-day tours

There are several great hiking trails in Abisko National Park. You can find maps and hiking tips on the information signs at the visitor center entrance, in the national park folder and in the book Abisko hiking tips inside the visitor center. You can also ask the visitor center staff for tips and advice.

Under the "Visit information" menu here on the national park website, you will find practical information for your visit to Abisko. When you are in Abisko, you can pick up a national park folder at Naturum Abisko. It describes the most common tours in the area, along with a map.

Visitor information
In the book Abisko Turtips, you will find 21 tips for day trips and longer tours in the area. You can buy the book at Naturum Abisko or at Norrbotten Museum in Luleå.

Full-day tours
There are many nice places to visit if you have a day to hike. For example, there is a trail to Kårsavagge in the western part of the national park. In the southeast, you can hike to Baddusdievva/Paddus, which is in the same direction as Lapporten/Cuonavaggi. You can also hike to Nissunjåkka Canyon. It follows the Nissunjåkka, which is a tributary of the Abiskoeatnu. The most famous trail is the King's Trail, which runs south through the entire national park to the Abiskojaure cabin camp.
